There’s something special about a good market day—the fresh produce, the friendly faces, and of course… the dogs. Lots of dogs. Big ones, small ones, scruffy ones, and everything in between. Over the last 5 years of my small business making and selling pet accessories I have seen and heard all about your furry friends and I'm here to say, they are some of the best stories.


That’s why I’m so excited to introduce a brand-new blog series: Quinntessential Market Mutts.


Each week, I’ll be sharing the story of one unforgettable “market mutt”—a beloved dog (or cat) with a unique personality, background, and bond with their human. Whether they’re a seasoned market regular or a first-time visitor, every fur baby has a story worth telling, and I can’t wait to share them with you.


New stories will be posted every Sunday, so you’ll have something heartwarming to look forward to at the end of each week.

Quinntessential Market Mutts: Meet Copper Red Woten 🐾 Some dogs enter your life in ordinary ways… and some arrive when they need a family most. Copper Red Woten’s story started with heartbreak, but quickly turned into one full of love, belly rubs, and Farmers Market adventures. Copper is believed to be around five years old and is a handsome American English Coonhound and Beagle mix with a personality as big as his floppy ears. After a friend witnessed him being thrown from a car, they stepped in to help. Soon after, Copper found his forever home with the Woten family — and it’s safe to say he’s been making up for lost time ever since. From the very beginning, Copper showed everyone exactly who he was. In fact, his family’s favorite memory happened during his very first weekend with them.
